2. Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship
Category A: Free tuition, accommodation, medical insurance and living allowance (RMB 2500/month for undergraduates and RMB 3000/month for masters).
Category B: Free tuition, medical insurance fee
Note: International students who need to receive preparatory education enjoy the corresponding living subsidy standard according to their status of studying abroad, and the teaching subsidy standard is allocated to Shanghai Preparatory College according to the standard of Class I of undergraduate.
Application requirements:
Undergraduate: high school or above, 25 years old or below, HSK4;
Pre-University: high school or above, 23 years old and below, HSK3;

Note: Each institution in the city that accepts scholarship students will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the annual grades, study attitude, attendance, behavior, rewards and punishments of their scholarship students in all categories. Those who pass the evaluation will be eligible for scholarships for the next year, and those who do not pass the evaluation will be suspended or canceled as scholarship students from the next academic year.
